I was born in California, raised in Arizona and currently live in Northern Colorado with my husband, three dogs and five cats. We like to say we have the Rocky Mountains in our backyard. I have three grown children and have been blessed with six grandchildren who are my absolute joy. Seriously, grandkids are the best part of getting older.
I'm a self taught crocheter, getting all my learnin' from the internet. This site started out as a way for me to keep track of the free crochet patterns I wanted to try. Originally the site was called Kris' Krochet Korner and began in 2000. Or thereabouts.
I like to pursue a variety of crafty projects and hunt for old furniture on craigslist.
I have been divorced once, widowed once and married three times. I have been a parent, foster parent, step-parent and grandparent. I was in the 1971 Sylmar earthquake, learned how to ice skate, roller skate, water ski and played adult volleyball and softball. Now I have an adult tricycle and stick to less demanding physical activites like reading, gardening......and crochet!
