This is a fun, quick and easy pattern. You can use any colors
to create the flower you desire.
Materials Needed:
#10 Bedspread - Small amounts of yellow, white, green or -
colors you desire
Size 6 steel crochet hook (1.80mm)
CENTER
RND 1: With yellow, ch 2, 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. DO NOT
JOIN, place marker.
RND 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16sc)
RND 3: (2sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around. (24sc)
RND 4: (2sc in next sc, sc in next 2sc) around. (32sc)
RND 5: Sc in ea sc around; slip st in next sc.
Finish off and weave in ends.
PETALS: uses 4 stitches
Special stitch - cluster
YO, insert hook in same st, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw
through two loops on hook, *YO, insert hook in NEXT sc, YO
and pull up a loop,
YO and draw through two loops on hook; repeat from * 2
times more, YO and draw through all 5 loops on hook.
Attach next color (white) with a sl st in any sc.
RND 6: *Ch 3, work cluster, ch3, slip st in same sc as last st
worked and in next sc; repeat from * around ending last sl st
in same st as beginning ch3; finish off and weave in ends.
STEM AND LEAF
Attach green with sl st to sc between 2 petals. Ch 61.
Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Hdc, 6dc, hdc, sc. 2 sc in same st as
last sc. Working along other side of leaf, sc, hdc, 6dc, hdc, sc
to end. Sl st in ea sc around and back up the chains that make
up the "stem." Finish off.
